My Mother Is A 73 Year-Old Traveling Gypsy And I Carry Her Bags – OHS080

“I want to be a gypsy!” That is the answer my mother gave to me when I asked her what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. In her 70s my mother wants to do some international traveling. We spent a couple days talking about traveling and our ideas about traveling. The following day asked me to sit down. After a short pause she pulled out a piece of paper with a small list of written locations. “There are only five places I would like to visit before I die. I might be too old to travel and visit these places…” That is when I cut her off and said, “This is as young as you are ever going to be and therefore, this seems like the best time to get started!” I took a look at the list and realized I would like to visit these places too. After a couple of trial travel adventures we are starting on her list. Our first destination is Hawaii. This podcast is about how I am repaying the kindness of my mother by making her life long travel dreams come true.
