An Alligator Bit My Hand Off! Fun For Kids – OHS009

The title says it all! And there is truth there also. Not so much about an alligator biting my hand off. But the idea of an alligator biting my hand off. When you have spent you entire life with one hand you might be faced with two options for how you view the world. Either with joy and humor or with bitterness and sadness. Well, I guess you do not need a one handed life to think that way.

I have taken the path of joy and happiness. Especially when it comes to kids. There is not a day in public a child does not stare, look amazed, and ask a lot of questions. And anytime I can bring humor to a moment about living this one handed life I do. This is just a short story about being in the right place at just the right time and seizing the moment. I made a crowd of people laugh, won the admiration of a father, and left a small boy frozen in utter stunned disbelief.

Thanks for listening! I invite you to share this podcast, offer a comment or leave some feedback.

Show Notes:

Thanks Mark, I was a most beautiful to say the least. But what I recall more is how much the father enjoyed the experience!
